Dan and Ian have shared many stories on this podcast of people who have escaped from the cubicle in search of location-independence.

This week’s episode is a little different. Today’s guest left his 9-to-5 job in pursuit of the ‘4-Hour Workweek’ type of entrepreneurial freedom only to find, some years later, that it wasn’t for him.

Coran Woodmass quit his job in Australia and moved to Chiang Mai, Thailand. He started building, buying and selling small web properties, but ultimately realized that didn’t make him happy.

These days, Coran has moved into a field he is incredibly passionate about – advising and brokering quality deals for Amazon FBA owners through his new business, TheFBABroker.com.

This conversation is not just about the winners and losers in the marketplace of Amazon businesses, it’s about finding what makes you feel satisfied and fulfilled too.

In the entrepreneurial world, it’s rarely questioned that “exiting” is the end goal of a smartly built business and a prestigious waypoint in a successful career.

In 2015, Dan Andrews and Ian Schoen sold their business for multi-seven figures, and although they don’t regret selling – there are many mistakes they made that were avoidable.

The book presents thought experiments designed to help you avoid similar mistakes.

Whether you are in the early stages of building a business or thinking of selling, this book is designed to help you build with the future in mind.

Who was the author Coran mentioned around the middle?
NOTE: Just looked myself – it was Keith Cunningham! Posting this in case anyone else missed it.

  • Coran Woodmass

Hi Pranab, yes Keith Cunningham. He was the mentor to Robert Kiyosaki who wrote the Rich Dad books. I’d suggest starting with “The Ultimate Blueprint for an Insanely Successful Business”
