There is a saying in South East Asia: “No money, no honey.” I can tell you all day long how I pack my backpack (which, I will freaking do if you meet me, you’ve been warned) but if you want radical personal freedom, building cash generating businesses is the most sustainable and secure way to make it happen. Its also tons of fun.
My business partner, Ian, and myself have decided that one big part of our growth in 2010 is going to be giving back as much as we can and interacting more with entrepreneurs. To that end, we’ve decided that on the Lifestyle Business Podcast and here at the Tropical MBA we are going to focus primarily on how to build successful businesses.
There are two areas we’d like to focus on. The first is entrepreneurial mindset. Building a business has been one of the most profound learning experiences of my life, and through the process I’ve learned a ton about mindset and attitude. I think those things are critical to success and often overlooked in discussions about successful businesses. The second focus will be on the nuts and bolts of building a business from the ground up. We’ve done it and we want to help others do the same. We also want to take you along on our journey as we try to take our business to the next level of scale.
A big part of our learning process over the next year will be looking in to as many other people’s business transformations as possible. We want to reach out and offer the best advice we can give, to anyone, at any stage in the process. If we don’t have any good advice or ideas, we’ll try to get you to somebody who can help.
How can we help you start your business or get your business to the next level? Or
What kinds of mindset or business challenges are you facing that you’d like to hear our opinion on?
What’s a sticking point for you right now?
Very specific questions are encouraged.
When you contact us, please let us know if you’d like us to reference your business in our content (both here and in Audio @ The Lifestyle Business Podcast). If you don’t specifically mention you’d like to share your business name (if any) with the audience, we’ll just use your first name and country.
In the style of @GaryVee, we will get back to everyone who would like to hear our opinion. Please send your inquiries (along with URLS if helpful) to:
Or in the comments below.
We are going to Koh Phi Phi in a couple days! I’ll take a video or two.
