Dan and Ian have been wanting to share the story behind this week’s episode for quite some time.

Justin Cooke is one of the co-founders of Empire Flippers. Empire Flippers is a marketplace for online businesses.  Since their inception, they have grown their team to around 60 remote employees, and have helped people buy and sell over $50 million worth of businesses.

It wasn’t always like that, though. On today’s podcast, Justin is joining us to share the story of how Empire Flippers came about.

You’ll hear about Justin’s background in the mortgage industry, how he joined forces with his business partner Joe Magnotti, why the market crash in 2008 left them with almost no money, and how they were eventually able to create Empire Flippers.

The book presents thought experiments designed to help you avoid similar mistakes.

Whether you are in the early stages of building a business or thinking of selling, this book is designed to help you build with the future in mind.

  • Great ep with 2 of my favorite people, but nowhere NEAR enough mentions of that vagrant that crashed with Joe & Justin for a few months that was the CLEAR reason for all of their success.

  • LOL next time! :D

  • Never forget DT, miss you buddy!
