If you remember, we recently put out a call for someone who would be willing to start a productized service business on the show. Jeff Pecaro was the person who answered – and we’ll be following his progress in the weeks to come.

But this week Dan has decided to give Bossman a well-deserved rest and to invite Jeff  to co-host the show. Why? Because it features  Brian Casel, an expert in productized services. Brian has not only found success with his own productized services businesses but has also helped other entrepreneurs, like Jeff, follow suit.

Listen in as Brian shares his expertise about productized services, freelancing, and how his new business has benefited exponentially from his experience running his first one.

I loved this episode! This is by far the best episode in the mini-series about productized services. If you haven’t listened to it, what are you waiting for?!

This is one of my favorite parts: “[…] That’s why I think, Look, there’s nothing wrong with freelancing. That’s even the first step. It’s engaging your time in cash flow positive way that’s building the skills that are going to lead to a productized service business which could lead to having an audience which could lead to someday, building a software product for that audience.”

I am in the process of starting my own productized business. When I first started, I did content marketing. Now, I do lead gen. I do lead gen through prospecting and content marketing because that’s what pays.

Brian is THE man when it comes to productizing a service. I immediately thought of him when I saw the title of this episode.
Enjoyed listening to it, as usual. Strong ideas in the end too. Love that section, as I’m sure all other listeners do :)
